Resetting my criminal court date

Is there anything i can do myself to reset my court case which has been set to only 3 days away?

Courts vary in their procedures. However it would be best if you got something in writing for your bondsman. If you don't have an attorney, go down to the court where your case is set before your court date and explain that you need to have your case reset. Suggest you call before you go to get directions.

Hello there,

You can either hire a lawyer and he can ask for a continuance to prepare for trial or you can ask the judge for more time because you want to hire your own attorney rather than have one court appointed.
