Responsible person that signed Bond
if I bonded someone out of jail..How can I get off that bond? Can I sign it to someone else?

Return to the Clerk of Court where you posted the bond and explain that you wish to cancel the bond. The defendant will be re-arested and held until a new bond is posted.
You cannot assign your position to someone else. Another will have to start again.
The court may keep you on the bond until the defendant surrenders.
