What are the rules to the new DWI D.I.V.E.R.T. program?

they are very convoluted and nobody really knows what is going on yet (it is a new program started in Harris County this month). A lot of the DAs dont really know the particulars. From what i understand so far, you get an evaluation that you have to pay for from probation that determines how much treatment you will need. Then you have to jump through all the hoops, do the treatment at your expense, have an interlock, all kinds of stuff. I wish i could provide a more detailed answer, but I am still trying to figure it all out myself.
