Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
does a search warrant have to have an indiviuals name listed prior to their search
and do police have to show the warrant prior to search

Generally speaking, a search warrant has to describe the place to be searched but does not have to identify its owners or occupants. Police must show the warrant to the owners or occupants if they ask.
