Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Section 1245
I have a felony indictment on illegal porn charges. My attorney has worked out a deferred probation deal for me but I will have to plead
guilty to the charges. He says that because of section 1245 or rule 1245, I will not have this on my record for long. I don't like pleading guilty to something Ididn't do but he says this is best.

Re: Section 1245
Your attorney's advice is based upon the case the prosecutor has, and what he/she believes is the best possible outcome for you.
You position is not as practical, but possibly more important.
Assuming you are willing to take the risk, in the event you lose, and end up with the maximum punishment, then demand your trial.
