How can someone get his sentenced reduced in texas

Almost impossible. Requires the agreement of two of the three following officials: THE DA; THE sheriff; and / or THE judge of the convict's court. Only time I have seen it happen is when the convict is terminally ill or has provided information on a very important case while in prison.
