Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Sex Offender
My ex-husband engaged in a sexual relationship with a 16 year old 10 years ago and received 10 years probation from the state of Texas. he violated the probation and had sex with her again and he had his hearing and the judge sentenced him to 10 years. How long will he actually serve and will it be in a State Prison or County Jail?

It depends, but probably a state prison, and if no aggravating circumstances were found, approximately 5 years.
