sex offender registration for Texas
If a person commits a sex offense crime in another state, and is released in 1996 does this person have to register in the state of Texas.

It depends upon the conditions for release, and if there are reciprocal requirements imposed by the releasing state. The person needs to take a complete copy of the file to a Texas criminal defense lawyer for review.
