Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Sexual Abuse
What is the statue of limitation in charging a person with sexual abuse in the state of Texas? My daughter will be 17 next week, and she is currently in therapy, and has just revealed to her therapist that my ex husband sexually abused her. I have ben divorced 2 years in November. What should I do now, as a parent, against this monster? What are my daughter's rights?

Re: Sexual Abuse
You need to contact the police in the jurisdiction where the abuse occurred. They will take you from there.
