After the first appeal was denied. Wha do we do next.? This is regarding my son. We just need to know what to do next.Do we need to get an attorney that is strong in this type o case? This is a family matter.we don't know, What comes next?

When was the appeal heard? When was the trial? Was it a jury or bench trial? Do you have the record?

If by "first appeal" you mean the appeal to the court of appeals, then after that you may seek discretionary review from the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. If that is unsuccessful, you may seek review from the United States Supreme Court. After that, you may do a writ of habeas coprus. Yes, you will need a lawyer for all of these options.
