SHoplifting

I was arrested for shoplifting 125 dollars worth of groceries from walmart in El Paso, tx. do i need to hire an attorney? i dont know what to do.

Hello there,

Yes, you need to hire an attorney. The legal process is very complicated and there may be areas to protect your rights or even have your case not turn into a final conviction through deferred probation.

I would not even let any of my family take care of a traffic ticket without my help. So go and talk to some lawyers and hire one that you feel comfortable with that is not going to rip you off.
