Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
shoplifting
My daughter 16yrs old and her friend 18 yrs old were caught shoplifitng at a retail store my daughter has a class A felony and her friend a class B is this going to stay on their permanent records forever?

Your daughter should have been charged as a juvenile, her friend as an adult. If handled correctly, and they stay out of trouble, it is possible to get the records sealed later on. If the charges get dismissed, they can get expunged eventually.
