Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Another Shoplifting Question
I stole $62 worth of items at WalMart. I posted bail back about 1 month ago, how long will it take to get to court? I'm being charged with A class B misdemeanor and a failure to identify. Will the items I stole have any effect on my case, for example, If I stole 62 worth of Cd's vs School supplies? Would I need a lawyer to try to plead guilty for a lesser charge? How would I go about doing it?

Re: Another Shoplifting Question
Unfortunately, it is going to be a very expensive experience. If you do not know how to handle this on your own (and very few people do) then hire a lawyer. A record for theft will have lasting and serious consequences.
