If you shoplifted and got caught and you are only 16 years of age and it is a CLASS A charge, does that CLEAR from your name when you become 18 years old?

Re: shoplifting
Shoplifting can be a Class A or B misdemeanor. It can also be a felony depending upon the value of the property stolen. A juvenile record is not "cleared" just by turning 18 years of age. It will stay with you for life unless you take action. You should see a criminal defense attorney in your area who handles juvenile cases.
