Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
My sister-in-law physicall abused my father-in law in April of 2010; the policewere called out to the house My father-in-law at this time refused to press charges. He is now deceased. Can my husband who was his POA file charges now? We live in Texas

No. He was the witness and complainant. They will not now take charges.
