if i sold i car over a year ago and it is still in my name what can i legally do aboutnit

In the future when you sell a car, accompany the buyer to the county to move registration to them. You should also always create a bill of sale or receipt.

You should send a certified letter advising the person to change the title to your name, and if you receive any state or county notices about fees, etc., send them a letter providing the name and contact information of the purchasers.
