My son got a citation for stealing under 100.00. should I pay the fine or go tocourt?

NO!!!! Do NOT just pay the fine. Hire a lawyer to handle the case. If you just pay the fine, then it is a conviction which could harm his future. (Theft is a crime of moral turpitude.)
