Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
My son is in Denton County Jail on an alleged probation violation. The initial failure to id has been thrown out. He has been in jail 9 months and each time that it is time for court(the day of or the day before) we are told that the main witness(the probation officer) is on a leave. Doesn't a subpeona override any type of leave? What are his rights if he is being held without a bond? THey have now again rescheduled his court date until June 15.
