Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
My son had good credit. He was told he was going to be part owner in a landscaping business. He would write the checks and the other would be the get the business. We just found out that a check that was written in 2007 was bad and a warrant it out for my son's arrest. The business is closed and the other person is long gone and can not be found. What can we do? Is there a limitation on this?

He should get a lawyer. Limitations will depend upon the amount of the check. Based on the information you provided, he may not be liable. It will depend upon whether the check written was for goods or services; and what account the check was written on, and his level of control.
