Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
my son is in jail for aggrevated robbery,hes never been in jail before was going to college,working paying for his car but just started hanging out w the wrong crowd...but my question is he was told that he would be eligible for parole after serving 1/2 his sentence will he qualify w that charge?

If he gets a prison sentence, then he will not be eligible to be paroled until he serves 1/2 of that sentence. However, he is eligible for deferred adjudication probation. Hire him a good lawyer.
