Re: son in jail on drug charges
The most you can do for your son is hire the best criminal defense lawyer you can afford. Please remember you often get what you pay for in the legal service industry. If your son qualifies as an indigent, he will be eligible for court appointed counsel. Depending on the county, court appointed counsel can be very good and experienced, or only in it for a quick dollar. Good luck.
Re: son in jail on drug charges
Hello there,
If you cannot afford an attorney for your son the court will appoint one to represent him.
As you already know, it is usually best to hire your own attorney because a lot of court appointed attorneys simply have to many cases and do not care.
Sincerely,
Erick Platten
