Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
My son was the primary driver of a pickup that was purchased in my name. After a wreck, he left the truck at an acquaintance's residence. My son supposedly owed the acquaintance money & they had an agreement that when the money was repaid, my son could move the pickup (which was undrivable due to the wreck). After a couple of months, my son and I drove by the residence, but thre truck was not there. My son's friend told him that the acquaintance had tried selling the truck. I have not approached the acquaintance. Can I report the truck stolen?

you can try, but it sounds like a civil dispute. Try contacting local law enforcement and tell them what is going on, they may file it as a stolen vehicle.
