my son had sex with a 13 year old. the girl's mother says she isn't pressing charges against my son. but it was reported by the doctor who saw the girl. i just want to konw what could happen to my son if the state takes the case

Your son needs a criminal defense attorney. He could be charged with rape. There may be a defense if your son was not more than 2 years older than the girl.
