Re: My Son

Your son is an adult and made a decision based upon advice given by his lawyer, which was based upon a full examination of all the facts, both pro and con, that would be presented at trial. Usually a plea involves a waiver of appeal, and if not, leaves few options available for an appeal. You can retain a new attorney to review the file and transcript, but there are strict deadlines, and he only has 30 days from the date of the plea.
