Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
My sons girlfriend attacked him while she was highly intoxicated, with a knife, scratched him on his neck with her fingernails and bit his finger. She did this in front of their 3 children. She was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault during a domestic violence incident. She was arrested 3 years ago for domestic violence against my son as well. What is the likely hood she will go to prison this time? Is it possible her case will be dismissed?

Very factually dependent but if the facts are as you state, she is in a difficult position. She should be alcohol free, getting treatment of some sort for her alcohol abuse, and have a great lawyer.
