Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Right to a speedy trail
My husband was arrested 6 years ago for aggervated robbery. He got out on bond and never heard anything until about 4 weeks ago. Now without much warning he has been set for trail. I thought they had 180 days to bring it to trail. What does the right of a sppedy trail mean? Is the law allowed to wait as long as they want before going to trail?
