Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Can the state pay for a victim to come testify in a case? put simple can they finace a trip for a victem out of state?

can they? yes. Do they? depends on how big the case is. They will even hire and fly in expert witnesses. The state has budget issues and will not fork over tons of money to prosecute every case.
