Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
In the state of Texas can you be arrested if you do not sign a crosswalk violation (jay walking ticket)? My lawyer told me that in I should not have been arrested even though i declined to sign the ticket

You need to trust the advice given by your lawyer. If you don't, then you need to get another lawyer. Generally, one lawyer will not give you advice while you are represented.
