Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

i am not aware of one, if the case/ticket has been charged in court which it sounds like it has. Misdemeanor cases must be filed within two years. The remedy should they ever try to prosecute it is to ask for dismissal for failure to prosecute. How do you know you have not been bond forfeited, if you posted bond? How do you know no warrant has been issued? Go online if your county has that and try to be sure.
