what is the statute of limitations for a warrent on a bad check?

the statute of limitations applies to how long the state has before they file charges on you. The statute of limitations in Texas is 2 years. If the state filed charges on you and then issued a warrant within that 2 year period, then they have no statute of limitations problem. The state is not punished because someone goes "on the run" so to speak. Arrest warrants themselves do not expire.
So if you are asking if the warrant itself has a statute of limitations, it does not.
