What is the statute of Limitation for a fraudulent check warrant?

It is not a S/L per se. It is more a determination by the court whether or not law enforcement exercised diligence in executing the warrant. For instance, if you lived in town, and were listed in the phone book, and regularly updated your DL information, and say 18 months expires with no action, then a valid case can be made to quash the warrant. Law enforcement almost always gets a free pass however when the defendant has left the state.
