Arrested DUI 2001. FTA.
Also convicted misd. drug charge. Convicted, assigned probation. Left state.
Is there a timeframe whereby the above charges no longer apply?

No. Leaving the state tolled the statute of limitations. There is probably still a warrant with your name on it. Hire a lawyer to see about getting it resolved.
