Is there a statute of limitations for 2 dui's. I was convicted on 1. Have warrants. had to move to another state

The statute of limitations in Texas is 2 years for misdemeanors. However, I'm pretty sure that once a warrant is issued, the statute of limitations is tolled. In other words I think it's 2 years between offense and warrant, not 2 years between offense and arrest.
