Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

I'm staying at a friend's house in Texas for an extended period, and it's come to my attention that one of the people who recently came into the household may have a warrant for their arrest with cash bounty.

I keep to myself in the house, in a back room working on art, and generally don't know the names or history of any of the persons who come through this house, aside from the friend and his parent.

Police have come around looking for someone, but the name they give isn't one I'm familiar with, though very well could be an alias that one of the people here goes by.

What is your question? If you lie to the police to cover for a person that they are looking for, then you could be charged with harboring a fugitive. It is not worth it. If you suspect that one of the people in the house has a warrant and goes by a different name, you should tell the police when they come around again looking for the person before you end up in trouble for nothing.
