Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
stopped payment
I stopped payment on a check for a vaccum cleaner I purchased. The second day after I got it it stopped sucking. I told the company about it and they would not refund my money. My question is can I be prosecuted for a check I stopped payment on?
