Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Supeana Served for criminal case
Got a supeana in the mail box after court time, so we weren't there. What happens now? Charges were dropped over a month ago. person is still in jail, they were on previous felony probation. D.A. is trying to do grand jury on burglary theft on that person. We were the ones that person was in our house. What now?

Re: Supeana Served for criminal case
You did nothing wrong since you did not receive the subpoena before the court date. If the State decides to pursue the case, then you will either get another subpoena from them or a phone call. I hope this helps.
