Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Suspended License Texas & Arizona
Dear Law Guru:
Two part problem. In 2002 I got a ticket for a suspended license while in Tempe Arizona and the I've continuted this case for a long time in hopes of being able to get an Arizona license. Part two is that while I was visiting friends in Houston Texas I was cited for driving without a license and driving while my driving privilege was suspended or revoked. Does anyone know how these cases are best handled in each state? What are the possible consequences in Texas and Arizona? Will I have to go to jail?

Re: Suspended License Texas & Arizona
I believe driving while license suspended is up to 180 days in jail and a $500 fine. Houston has an excellent criminal bar. I believe Wayne Bettis 644-1000 (I don't remember the current area code) handles these types of matters in that town.
