Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

suspended license,drug charges,ect....

my husband was arrested on sat.night. the next morning i went with my friend to the jail to get the tile to the car. the officer pulled me in a office and told me i was under arrest for driving to the sene of the arrest to get my son from my husband(whom was going to jail) he told me that the only way to not get arrested was to turn people in for selling drugs!and that he could take my kids my house and charge me with two felonies if i didnt do this! i said i would see what i could do......now the cop is calling everyday telling me i need to hurry or im going to jail! if they had a warrant wouldnt i already be in jail? what is true in what hes telling me and what should i do??

You cannot be charged with any crime for driving to the scene of arrest. From the information in your question it seems that the officer is taking advantage of your ignorance of the law. Contact an attorney immediately and have the attorney contact the police. If the officer contacts you, tell him you have contated that attorney and that you have been advised that you do not have to talk to him or return his calls.
