Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
I was terminated from my job for theft of money in Texas. I did admit that I committed the theft (no statement was written on my behalf). The problem is that they said I took over $10,000, I know for a fact that I did not take that much, or even close to that amount. Currently I live in Pennsylvaina and I'm now receiving phone calls from a detective asking questions about the incident. This is my 1st major offense I have no clue or idea on what to do, I need some advice before talking to the detective.

My suggestion is that you DON'T talk to the detective. Tell him that since you're a suspect in a criminal case, you want to invoke your right not to talk to him. If he keeps asking questions, keep telling him that you don't want to talk to him.
