Re: testifing against husband
As with most legal questions, there are some "it depends." It depends upon whether one is in state or federal court.
For instance, when the wife is the victim of a crime committed by the husband, or when a child is the victim of the husband [abuse], or when the husband and wife jointly commit a crime, then in the federal courts the wife can be compelled to testify against the husband, at least when she has been granted full immunity.
The rules vary from state-to-state otherwise.
