Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

I am a texas concealed handgun license holder my friend is a convicted felon,for that fact she is scared to ride in the car with me even though my gun is in my waist and not laying down anywhere that she could get to it,is she a harmsway by riding with me for the state of texas

If I were her, I would not want to get in the car with you either. Although the gun is on you and in your possession, she has probably been told that she is not to be around guns period. (In actuality, she is not to possess guns but it is prudent of her to be even more careful.)
