Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas

i am from texas and moved to ny with my family as my husband was in he army and got stationed there. i am a good citizen though i was very stressed as my husband found out he was supposed to deploy soon. so i did what i used to do in texas an went out on my porch swing to relax and listen to music but i left my door open so i could still hear my 2 kids upstairs squealing and playing. well, the owner of the house who was not supposed to be talking to me since we were signed on as military housing, (the army was renting the house from her and to us) had been harassing my husband and i for months. so her and the neighbor came out harassing me again, telling me that i was not taking proper care of my babies. i told her to leave me alone so she said okay i will just go call the police. i said call them then and they will arrest you for harassment, plus more arguing happened. they refused to just leave me alone, so i went in my house, locked the doors, and laid down on my couch instead. she called the police and they came banging on my door. it scared me as i was already too stressed to deal with the forcefulness of the police. so i did not answer my door as i didn't believe i had to?? they busted open my door, and one went to head upstairs to check on my children! i am super protective over my children, especially with men as me and all of my sisters have been molested as children by men, and raped by adults. i don't care if they have a presidents award, if i don't know them like the back of my hand i will not let them near my kids without me there. so i went behind the officer that was going up my stairs toward them and asked him to let me go with him or be in front of him so that the kids wouldn't be scared. the officer told the other cops that i was trying to pull him down the stairs and that is the last thing i remember until i was maced. and then i blacked out again. i was not drunk or on drugs so it had to be my stress level. i woke up in jail and in allot of pain and found out that they are charging me with assault in the 2nd as they told me that i assaulted 2 police officers, and child endangerment?????! i would never endanger my children, and i would never have blacked out from stress if they hadn't came into my home and went to go around my children. and i would never assault an officer of the law! i seriously do not remember anything like that but i did black out. should i take their offer of assault in the 2nd?, or was it even legal for them to enter my home? i mean thats a felony! i don't think i deserve that seeing as none of it would have ever happened if they hadn't came in my home. they even had my children hiding in their closet terrified because they were pounding on my door! i looked up the assault in the 2nd and that is what child molesters, and really bad people have. please feel free to email me at [email protected]. thank you very much for your time and help.
