Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
In Texas why do you need pardon before expungement?
I have a class B misdemeanor (prostitution over twenty years old)
I would like to get off my record can I? Do not have any other convictions. By the way I did go before a judge but I was never fine or got any jail time.

Re: In Texas why do you need pardon before expungement?
Your question is confusing. If you never went to court and never paid a fine, then are you sure you were convicted? Did you plead out to time served?
If you do not qualify for expunction, you may qualify for an order of non-disclosure.
