Texas Shoplifting
My son has just been arrested for shoplifting in Texas. He is 18 years old. What should we do? Is there anythng that we can do? What is the normal list events that will happen from here?

Theft is very serious and can keep people from getting many jobs and even kill there ability to have a professional license.
First contact an attorney to handle his case.
If this is his first offense he will most likely be placed on deferred adjudication and not found guilty.
As for the punishment range that depends on how much you son was stealing.
