Hey I have a question about the penalties for the theft of cash in the amount of $400.00.
What are the penalties facing someone if this was their first offense of any kind?

Re: Theft of cash
Based on what you have written, it would appear that you are being charged with a Class B Misdemeanor (based on the $400.00 value). The range of punishment might be as high as up to 180 days in county jail and/or fine up to $2,000.00. You should really seek the assistance of a local law firm to protect your rights and interests. If my law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact my legal assistant Jennifer ([email protected]).
