Theft
I was 17 when I got charged with shoplifting(misdemeanor under 500.00) my lawyer at the time said that it would be removed from my record bu that never happened. What are my options?

It is difficult to answer your question without knowing more facts about your case and the disposition. It is possible that you received and completed deferred adjudication. If so, then the case was dismissed and no conviction appears. If your case was diverted, it is possible that there was no court filing. In either event, the arrest still shows up on your record. Contact an attorney with a copy of the disposition, and find out if you are eligible for an expunction or a nondisclosure.
