Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Theft by Check offense
Is there a statue of limitations for a theft by check offense? I have gotten a letter saying there is a warrant fo my arrest for theft by check. The offense was committed about 12-13 years ago. Can I be arrested for this?

Maybe.
If the warrant is active, and you have been in the state during this time, and not 'hiding', a lawyer can get the warrant quashed.
