Re: theft of my company
The Texas Theft Liability Act provides some relief in addition to the civil cause of action of conversion. The statute does not specifically denote a limitations period, but it does require a conversion to be pled. Conversion is a two year statute from the date the action accrues. Fraud is four-year limitations period. You may have an employment contract that could be controlling. Whether or not you have lost the right to sue, can only be determined by an attorney with full knowledge of all of the facts. You should consult one immediately.
