Where should I look to learn what the penalties are for: theft and forgery of a personal check for $1oo in the state of Texas?

Forgery penalties in Texas
Take a look at Tx Penal Code Section 32.21, Forgery is generally a state jail felony. 180 days to 2 years in a state jail and a fine of up to $10K. In most cases the jail time MUST be probated.
