Legal Question in Criminal Law in Texas
Theft 50/500
In July 1997 I was charged with theft 50/500 from the retail store I worked at. I went to jail and bailed out the next day. I went to court and was sentenced to 1 year of probation & 40 hours of community service. I never completed either and now I am unsure of what to do. Question - Is there--name removed--statute of limitations on my case, or will I have--name removed--warrant out until I can afford to go back to court and try to handle this again?

Re: Theft 50/500
Violation of the terms of probation is grounds for revoking probation. I suggest you retain legal counsel to assist you with this matter.
